Your thoughts become things!
It's true, your thoughts do become things. The attitude that you have towards it can go a long way. When I started to implement the law of attraction into my life, I realised just how hard it can be to keep these thoughts positive, especially when I kept having new obstacles and challenges that kept coming my way. So how do you change this? How do you overcome it?
You have to remember what your worth is! What is my current life goals? What makes me happy? What is the thing setting me back?
I am going to give you a good example from my experiences and how I changed it.
For just under ten years I had worked for a minimum paid retail store. This was my first actual job that I started when I was eighteen. I was just happy that I was getting the money coming in so I could pay my parents the rent. Besides this was my first income, so it was exciting to begin with! As the years went on and the promotions came and went I started to see how the job was effecting me. The stress was unreal! I didn't get the appreciation that I felt like I needed. Not even a simple "thank you" for all the long hours, busting my gut for them. I never had a social life and making friends or relationships of any kind was proving to be difficult. The days that I was getting off, I just wanted to put my feet up and relax and not do much of anything. Or I would just be getting called back in again.
I have so many hobbies that I love to do that always make me happy. E.g. Drawing, writing, going out for walks and my spiritual work. But I never had time to do them, my mind was retail focused all the time. I was that stressed and upset that my hair started to fall out rapidly. While reading the secret and bringing the law of attraction into my life, I began to feel grateful for what the job has brought to me e.g. A start with income, life experiences, being able to manage a team and customer service. With these tools it could mean that I could expand on the things that I do want to do. Me and my partner have a etsy shop where we sell our services which involves the spiritual work and I also can do things at home which lights up my creativity. I knew that this is my focus! This is what makes me happy.
Even though I found new ways to deal with the stresses at work, I believed that leaving would benefit me. Health, emotionally and spiritually. I took the leap of faith and handed in my four week notice. I took that step and I believed it was right!
Ever since I have left, I feel more myself but it means that I can also do things that I have always been meaning to do. At the same time I am making money out of it.
There is many lessons to be learnt from this.
- Recognise what you feel is not right. This will be the thing that is setting you back. Don't give it too much thought. Just BE AWARE of it.
- SEE what is going right and recognise your hobbies or interests that you would like to pursue.
- BE GRATEFUL for everything that has put you in the here and now! Because knowing what you want to do and being aware of what you need to change, you are already on the first steps of manifestation.
- FEEL IT! Feel what makes you happy and make those feelings expand.
- TAKE ACTION.
