What is the law of Attraction?

So what is the law of attraction??

let's get on with it then!

When you type the law of attraction on the wikipedia page, this is how they define it...

"In the New Thought spiritual movement, the Law of Attraction is a pseudoscience based on the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person's life.[1][2] The belief is based on the ideas that people and their thoughts are made from "pure energy" and that a process of like energy attracting like energy exists through which a person can improve their health, wealth, and personal relationships."

It is thoughts that can control us, thoughts have strength and can give actions into your life, right? It is the power of love and belief that gives strength to those who succeed.

To help you understand how this works, let's go through this...

The universe is basically a homing beacon. A beacon for the energy that you send out. Everything is made up from energy! This includes your body and your thoughts. Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like nothing is going right?

When you recognise you are having a bad day and you suddenly think "Is anything going to go right for me today?"
It's most likely not too, as you have just sent out to the universe that intention. You have BELIEVED that you are not having a good day, so now the universe is giving you more things that will not "make your day go right".

I have not got the money to afford that.
I am so lonely
I don't want to go to work tomorrow

These are just a small amount of common and negative thoughts that go through our head's. When we start looking at the positives in our lives and start feeling grateful for what we have... that is when the magic begins.

So what happens when we do start thinking positive??

I love what I do, I love my family, I am so grateful for the income, I am so thankful for my creativity.

These sound positive right? Well... they are also affirmations. When we turn off the negative way of thinking and start opening our life up for positivity, you will begin to see a new and better way of living. There is so many true stories out there where people bring most of their dreams to life by constantly believing that they already had it.

Write a list of all the things in your life right now that you are grateful for and why.
Gratitude is a good reminder for all the great things that you have in life! So why not do it?

The law of attraction teaches us that when we have a thought, (either good or bad) it will get sent out to the universe and it will be answered. You just have to believe in it. If you keep saying to yourself "today is going to be a good day"... wish granted! In that day you will find new ways to make it a good day. There will be things there that will challenge you, e.g. a work collegue starts to annoy you. You will find a new and healthier way to approach it. Treat these people as your life coaches. These sort of people show you on how to overcome situations. Remind yourself of all the things that you are grateful for in that job. Then think about all the ways that that collegue has benefitted you. Even if it is something simple like "he has such good management skills that I feel encouraged to get the work done on time"

Think about the positive of everything and everyone around you. You will see what I mean.

Play a few games with your mind, put a bit of paper over your debit/credit card that says £200. Everytime you have to use the card in the shops, just think that you can get that amount back each time! When you believe it can happen... truth is... anything is possible!

I really would recommend in reading The Secret by Rhonda Bryne or even watching the film. She has helped me out in so many ways that I didn't think possible. Since reading it I have finally got my own place, have a good income and I now work for myself in doing the things that I love to do.
